Genie Group launches Mobile Broadband

Broadband genie has launched a new variant of it's price comparison and user review product, focussing in particular on mobile broadband from a range of UK providers.

These packages have come on a long way since I last used them and now mostly using the 3G networks to get you 1meg + easily from a simple USB dongle or card to go into your laptop. For me, it's handy when going away for a few days when I'm not sure if I'll be near any wireless hotspots.

Personally - I like Vodafone's offering.

A highly overlooked brilliant piece of kit. The way Sky+ should have been.

I've had my Tivo box for over three years now and while they still make them in the US, the UK has only a limited supply in circulation via ebay.

 I hook it up to my Virgin Media set-top box and it let's me record and playback shows via the digital hard disk, and let's me pause live TV.  It also lets me vote for content I like and don't like and helps recommend new shows.   Imagine it as a more intelligent Sky+ box.

 I haven't watched live tv in about two years now as if it's not recorded by Tivo then it's not worth watching.

 Highly recommend it.
